Obituary of Gloria P. Arganese

Gloria P. (Spiriti) Arganese, age 86, of Trumbull passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Yale New Haven Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph R. Arganese, Sr. Born in Northampton, MA on April 4, 1936 she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Josephine (Esposito) Spiriti. Gloria was an avid golfer and her love for shopping gave her the affectionate title of “QVC Queen”. Her greatest enjoyment however was found in the time she spent surrounded by her family, especially during the holidays when everyone was together. She absolutely loved to cook and feeding others was her priority. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend of many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving children, Debra Lynn Arganese, Ralph R. Arganese, Jr, Darlene M. Curley and her husband Michael and Eugene L. Arganese and Helena, all of Trumbull and Thomas J. Arganese and his wife Julie of Westport, her cherished grandchildren, James Curley, Rodney Arganese, Travis Curley, Lyndsay Krisel, Michayla Curley, Brittany DiBartolomeo, Gino Arganese, Nikko Arganese, Dario Arganese, Trevor Arganese, Daniel Arganese, Gloriana Arganese and Mignon, as well as eight adored great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband Ralph, she was also predeceased by a brother Joseph Spiriti and her sisters, Mary Spiriti and Yolanda Capra.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may greet the family on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
