Obituary of David A. Bobalki
David A. Bobalki, 80, of Trumbull, passed away Friday, March 3, 2023 in St. Vincent’s Medical Center, where he lost his battle with cancer and Covid 19. Born in Bridgeport, CT on January 26, 1943, he graduated from St. John Nepomucene School, class of 1957. He also graduated from Notre Dame High School, class of 1961. Dave worked for the City of Bridgeport Fire Department for 23 years and retired as First Step Captain. Dave believed in his country and gave 24 years of service in the Army Reserve. He will always be remembered for his kindness and generosity. He was predeceased by the loss of his brother Peter. His brother Tommy was always there to help with his difficulties. Dave enjoyed riding his BMW motorcycle to yearly rallies in different states.
He leaves behind his brothers, Tommy and Alexander of Trumbull, his sister Margaret and brother-in-law Peter Lalwani of Manhattan, N.Y., and his good friend, Judy Ruskin.
Dave, you are the greatest brother anyone can ever have and will be sadly missed by all. May the angels take you to paradise where God will wipe away every tear.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 200 Shelton Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may greet the family on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
