Obituary of Elaine Mileski

Elaine Berger Mileski, 90, of Bridgeport passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2023.

Elaine was born in Bridgeport on January 12, 1933, a daughter of the late Leonard F. Berger Sr. and Vivian Ratchford. She was a graduate of Bassick High School class of 1951 and the Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing class of 1954. Elaine went on to have a long nursing career that included being a Past President of the Bridgeport Hospital Nurses Association. She enjoyed gardening and poetry.

She is survived by her sons Henry J. Miles of Memphis, TN, and Paul Bryan of Shelton, CT; her daughters Jane Kane of Shelton, Kathleen Relkin of Milford, and Karen Mileski of Las Vegs, NV; her grandchildren Alex Relkin, Martin Kane, Ross Kane, and Jessica Bryan; her brothers Leonard F. Berger Jr. and his wife Lorna of Shelton and Allan T. Berger and his wife Susan of St. Simons Island, GA, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Leonara H. Clancy.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Ave., Shelton, CT. Burial will follow directly in the Trumbull Burial Grounds on White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
