Fay Ann Zak

July 7, 1934 - May 15, 2020

Fay Ann Zak of Trumbull, passed away on May 15, 2020 at age 85, at Saint Vincent’s Hospital in Bridgeport, CT. She was the beloved wife to the late Dr. Joseph F. Zak Jr.

Fay Ann was born in Bridgeport, CT daughter of the late Thomas C. Waller Sr. and Anna (Korcsmaros) Waller. 

Fay Ann is survived by her daughter Lynn Bolick and her husband Michael Paul, her step daughter Sharon Zak, her sisters Therese Carey, Barbara McHugh, Carolyn Muthersbaugh and her husband Michael, and brothers Kenneth Waller and his wife Susan and Phillip Waller and his wife Carol. She was predeceased by her brother Thomas C. Waller Jr. and her daughter Laura Ann Detuzzi.

She will be lovingly remembered by Laura’s husband Gregory Detuzzi and her grandchildren, Jennifer Baber and husband Sean, Amanda Reed and her husband Braxton and Michael T. Bolick and his wife Christina. She also leaves behind 4 Great Grandchildren.

Fay Ann was a long time custodian at Trumbull High School retiring in 2008. She enjoyed going to musicals and plays, family gatherings and church socials at Holy Cross Parish. Fay loved vacationing with family and swimming with her grandchildren. She adored her many pets that she had over the years.

Fay is remembered as a kind and generous woman with a great sense of humor and a beautiful smile. She was a loving Mother and is greatly missed.

A closed service was held at Heaven’s Gate in Trumbull by Abriola Parkview Funeral Home officiated by Father Pecaric.
