Kathy, was like a second mother to me. Beautiful inside and out. I just found out and I am so sorry Bruce and Susan and Mun about the loss of your mom and wife. Heaven has been blessed with a very special and beautiful angel. Sending big hugs and lots of love up to heaven and one day we will see each other again.

I am Kathy's cousin Ruth (O'Reilly) Schneider Gregoire. Growing up Katherine was the definition of grace and elegance to me. I remember their wedding reception at Forsgate Country Club where I had my first taste of champagne. I also remember sneaking up to her bedroom with my sister Pat and marveling at her dressing table with all the beautiful bottles. My favorite childhood memory was when she took me to NYC on the train and bought me a patent leather purse shaped like a lion's cage with a little stuffed lion in the window. I idolized her as a child, she was so beautiful and sophisticated, yet had a deep throaty laugh and was so kind. We kinda lost touch when she and Mun moved to Florida, although hers was usually one of the first Christmas cards we got with the unmistakable flourish or her signature. Many years ago when my mother was still alive we were able to visit in their lovely home In Ct. with the pond in their front yard.

Kathy is a special soul who lived a long and peaceful life and would never stop smiling. Kathy is and was always a loving and kindhearted woman. She always talked about the love she had for her kids and grandkids, and most of all her husband the love of her life. Kathy talked of all the great memories she and her husband shared in her lifetime. She was a beautiful and classy woman who never sold herself short. Kathy is like a mother and a friend who I could always talk to. She always listens, give advice and never selfish with her knowledge. Kathy taught me things I doubt I’d learn on my own, being with her is never a dull moment. She cared for me and my daughter as if we were her own. Overall Kathy is love-able by everyone. May her soul rest in peace.

Kathy has been a great friend while I worked with her husband. Her memories will always be with me. She will be truly missed by many of us. I am glad we talked to each other before she passed away. Her positive words and encouragement have motivated me to keep going and believe in myself no matter what! Thank you, Kathy, for being so kind and loving to me. I love you, and rest in peace, sweetheart!

Kathy was my dear neighboor. Such a lovely person, kindhearted and a pleasure to talk to. We used to have long conversations over the phone and in person and i always loved hearing her well educated opinion based on her wisdom and life experiences on things. She always made sure to send Christmas cards, always checked to make sure myself and family are doing ok. Really a great neighbor to have and My family and i will miss her greatly. Our condolences go to Kathys’s husband Monroe whom she loved and cared deeply, her two kids Susan and Bruce and her grand daughters whom she loved so much and was so proud of.
Rest in peace Kathy. I will think of you every time i will see the geese in the pond.
Arta Bushati and family.

My “Nana” was one of the most loving and involved people in my life. She was an amazing grandmother who cared deeply about my life and my happiness. She gave me a magical childhood full of travel, art, and sunshine, and taught me to be a strong, independent woman as I grew into adulthood.
She will always live on in the way I live my life, both big and small.
I love you and will miss you everyday!

I met Susan in my early college years and felt welcomed immediately by Kathy and Monroe. I married Susan but also became part of the Weiant family.
Many holidays and other visits together, and vacations to places like Paris, London, and Jackson Hole Wyoming are amongst my most cherished memories.
What I will always remember most is the way she loved my girls, her generosity and interest in their lives was deep and genuine.
Rest in peace we will miss you!

Nana was one of the most thoughtful and loving people I ever knew. We always had such fun conversations talking about family and music amongst several other things. I loved spending Christmas Eve with her and everyone as tradition, she was an excellent gift-giver. I enjoyed playing the piano with her, that was very special to me. Nana made me feel so welcome and warm and a part of the family and treated me like a grandson of her own from the moment we met and she’s been like a grandmother to me as well. I’ll miss her very much.

In all the years I have known her Kathy was special in every way. She became a very dear, loving and caring friend. Even when she was having a difficult day, her main concern was always how I was doing. I miss her terribly. She will forever be in my heart.

Nana was a treasured force of nature in our family. She was involved deeply in my life from the very first day. She would call to check in with me about every doctors appointment, stress, or achievement regardless of importance and show great interest in minute details. We bonded over GI issues and insomnia regularly. She has been my biggest support along with my mom and both have lifted me up to achieve my dreams. Nana was deeply giving and always put the needs of others first. She was an invested great-grandmother to her great-grandcats and she found my eccentricity with the cats to be highly amusing. Nana will be deeply missed and loved eternally!
