Obituary of James S. Legoza

James S. Legoza, age 90, of Trumbull, beloved husband of Anne Britto Legoza, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 in Maefair Health Care Center. Born in Bridgeport on April 23, 1921, he was a son of the late James and Elizabeth Szegdi Legoza. He was the owner and operator of Legoza Painting and Decorating. A dedicated hardworking family man, he was an avid gardener and also enjoyed watching the wildlife in his back yard. In addition to Anne, his wife of 67 years, survivors include three children, James J. Legoza and his wife Katherine of Silverthorne, CO, Richard Legoza and his wife Jan of Laguna Beach, CA and Nancy Raymond and her husband Ed of Newtown, four grandchildren, J. Joshua Legoza, Keith Legoza and his wife Yolanda, Sarah Smith and her husband Brian and Stephanie Forshaw and her husband Dr. David Forshaw, two great grandchildren, Mercer and Anna, five sisters and one brother as well as several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by three sisters and two brothers. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in Long Hill Baptist Church, 100 Middlebrooks Ave., Trumbull. Friends may greet the family from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Long Hill Baptist Church. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donors choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
