Obituary of Conor J. Poholek

Conor J. Poholek, age 20, of Trumbull passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport. Born in Stamford on September 8, 2003, he was the beloved son of Alex and Deirdre (Hayes) Poholek. Conor was raised in Trumbull, having attended Frenchtown Elementary School, Madison Middle School and eventually graduating from Trumbull High in 2021. He enjoyed his time on the football and diving teams at Trumbull High School. He loved all sports but had a particular affinity to skateboarding, snowboarding, and gaming. A loving son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend of many. Conor had a huge heart and a beautiful smile that will be deeply missed by all who loved him.

In addition to his devoted and loving parents, Alex and Deirdre, he is also survived by his brother Jack and his sister Leah, his maternal grandmother, Margaret Hayes of Croom, County Limerick, Ireland, his paternal grandparents, Frank and Susana Poholek of Alton, RI, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends too numerous to mention.

Friends may greet the family on Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
