Obituary of Elizabeth I. Mulligan

Elizabeth "Renee" (Wildman) Mulligan, age 72, of Bridgeport passed away peacefully on Friday, March 1, 2024 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of 47 years to Kenneth M. Mulligan. Born in Bridgeport on January 17, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Jerry and Elizabeth (Hoffman) Wildman and was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport. Renee worked at the Nutmeg Bowl bowling alley in Fairfield for over 40 years until her retirement and anyone who bowled there knew her. She was a bowling fanatic and could always be found bowling with family and friends. She enjoyed sewing, doing jigsaw puzzles and spending time with family, especially with her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be missed by all the people she touched in her life. In addition to her beloved husband Kenneth, survivors include her four loving children, Timothy J. Mulligan and his wife Lisa, Kelly Mulligan and her husband John LaValle, Jr., Kenneth W. Mulligan and Kevin E. Mulligan, six cherished grandchildren, Jessica, Kara, Aidan, Rylee, Lucy and Kiera and a special great granddaughter, Abigail Rose. Friends may greet the family on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
