Obituary of Elena Palmieri

Elena Incitti Palmieri, age 89 of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Carlo Palmieri, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 4, 2024, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 2, 1935 in Frosinone, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Anna Scaccia Incitti. Before her retirement, Elena worked at Remington Shavers for several years. Elena cherished spending time with her family, cooking and making sure everyone was taken care of. She loved singing, dancing and going to the casino with her husband, sister and brother-in-law. She influenced all of us with her love, kindness and compassion. Left behind to cherish her memories are her 3 daughters, Maria Goings and her husband Richard of Milford, Linda Marini of Trumbull and Rossana Palmieri of Bridgeport, 6 grandchildren, Christopher Goings, Richard Goings (Melissa), Jessica Goings, Lisa Marini, Anna White (Dan) and Carla Psarofagis (George), great grandchildren, Crystal Provo, Alexander Tapia, Jada Artis, Olivia, James and Maddie White, Lucas, Gianna, and Sofia Psarofagis, great great grandchildren Ashlynn Provo and Alayah Tapia and sister Josephine Nicolia. Elena was predeceased by siblings, Ernest Incitti and his wife Josephine, Rosa Nicolia and her husband Costantino, Filomena Zangrilli and her husband Luigi, son-in-law Enrico Marini and brother-in-law Gildo Nicolia. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Elena's caregivers Enza, Juliza, Carolina and Monica. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 11, 2024 at 10:00 am directly in St. Andrew Church, 435 Anton St., Bridgeport. Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Sunday from 1:00 - 4:00 pm at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, CT.
