Obituary of Nancy Ann Minotti

Nancy Ann Smeraglino Minotti, age 82, of Shelton, beloved wife of Thomas Minotti Sr., passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 16, 2024 with her loving family by her side. Born in Bridgeport on July 18, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Dominic and Carmela Faugno Smeraglino.

A graduate of Central High School Class of 1959, Nancy was a retired employee of Buswell Manufacturing. She loved spending time at the Shelton Senior Center. There she made many lasting friendships. Nancy was a member of the St. Margaret Mary Women's Guild and the Aspetuck Village Condominium Bocce League. She was also an avid Yankees fan.

But above all things, she was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was dedicated to the love and care of her family, always putting their needs before her own. She was at her best when her family was together, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. The unconditional love she gave and the values she taught will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her husband of 61 years, Thomas, survivors include her five loving children, Thomas Minotti Jr. (Linda), Christopher Minotti, Michele Vohra (Imtiaz), Jennifer Mengold (James), and Lisa Alfonso (Jayson Solis), 10 cherished grandchildren, Jessica Lynn Minotti (Alicia), Victoria Giampietro (Ben), Brianna Cap (Chris), Colin Mengold (Olivia), Saara, Jafar, Leya, Zaid Vohra, Sophia and Lucia Fede, four adored great grandchildren, Emma Sue, Benny, Ezra and Parker Rose, a sister, Donna Pasacreta (Lou), brothers, Michael Smeraglino (Debbie), Dominic Smeraglino (Linda), Anthony Smeraglino (Suzann), as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by a brother, Philip Smeraglino.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. directly in St. Margaret Mary Church, 50 Donovan Lane, Shelton. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. At Nancy's request, there will be no calling hours.
