Obituary of Donald L. Wolf

Donald L. Wolf, age 89, beloved husband of Adeline Zilli Wolf of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at St. Joseph's Center. Don was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 5, 1935, and has been a longtime resident of Bridgeport.

Don was a quality control engineer and most proud of his career at Ford in Detroit, MI. He had a passion for cars and enjoyed his work, travel and the people he met during his many years with Ford. He later moved to Connecticut to take a new job where he ended up meeting the love of his life Adeline. His passion for cars extended beyond work. He loved working with his hands and spent countless hours building and racing model cars, working on the family automobiles and building doll houses for his granddaughters. He also found great enjoyment in Drum Corp., where he was a director and conductor for many years and had a love for all animals, especially dogs. Don was a kind, gentle and giving man and will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his beloved wife Adeline of 46 years, survivors include two loving step daughters, Joyce Kopac and her husband Robert and Stella Farina and her husband Joseph and three cherished granddaughters, Sarah Kopac and her husband Craig Breitsprecher, Lisa Kopac and her fiancé Andrew MacIntosh and Nicole Farina.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may greet the family on Friday morning from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
