I had the distinct honor of starting my teaching career under the guide of Dom. He was a consummate professional who expected 100 percent from all of us but that is only because he gave 110 percent to everything he did! He was an excellent teacher, department chair, colleague and friend. I have so many fond memories. No matter how early I arrived to work, he was always there before me. As soon as I entered the office, he would be ready to share his new ideas for teaching and ideas for promoting the department. He was never without his orange Tik Tok candy that he would always offer before he took his.
I was so fortunate to have known him, and so very glad that we kept in touch after his retirement. Rest in peace Dom but something tells me you are already changing things up there.
