Dear Maria, Giana, Nick, Jacqueline, and Giuseppe, We are so sad to hear about the loss of your dad & grandfather. We know what a close, loving family he and your beautiful mom created through their hard work and sacrifice. By never moving away and staying in the area, you gave them their greatest joy - to see, live, and laugh with you all, not only on special occasions but in daily life. And recently, with much time and effort, you made sure you fulfilled their final wish and took wonderful care of them in their home up to the end. My deepest condolences to Nick , Maria , Jackie, Joey and Gianna. I remember Your Dad toiling in the Garden when you lived in Whiskey Hill and your mom making those beautiful apple pies! They were so accepting of your friends as welcoming family friends . I remember your Dad Nick chomping on his cigar and doing stuff in the basement or chopping wood outside and I was even lending a hand . We go so far back to grammar school and they were always so kind to me. They were alway happy to feed your friends. I am so sorry I could not attend the funeral but I will always have your mom and dad in my heart and remember them fondly. I am with you in spirit in your time of sorrow and I hope to see you soon when I can get there to Connecticut. Love Tony HRENYO

My sincere condolences to Nick, Jackie, Joey, Maria & the rest of the family. Mr Meriano was such a great man. He was fun to hang out with, & I have fond memories of him. May he rest in eternal peace & May God comfort this family in this difficult time. Love, Noel Wilkinson.
