Obituary of Paul F. Longdin

Paul F. Longdin, age 65, of Trumbull, loving husband of Deborah Albano Longdin, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 24, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born on May 13, 1948 in Boston, MA, he was a son of Alice Conley Longdin of Somerville, MA and the late John Longdin. A U.S. Army veteran, Paul earned the rank of Sergeant and was employed in the telecommunications department at Verizon. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother who cared deeply for his family and will be deeply missed. In addition to his mother and beloved wife of 41 years, Deborah, survivors include two loving daughters, Deborah Jasmin and her husband Kevin of Stratford and Jennifer Desrochers and her husband Robert of Beacon Falls, three cherished grandchildren, Gavin and Helayna Desrochers and Caroline Jasmin; two brothers, John Longdin and his wife Janet of Florida and Thomas Longdin and his wife Jessie of Corby, England; two sisters, Judith Longdin and her husband Steve Goldswig of White Fish, WI, and Patricia Centrella and her husband Frank of Somerville, MA, as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday, March 28, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends can greet the family on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
