Obituary of Angie N. Lucas

Stratford Resident Angie N. Lucas, age 95, of Stratford, a home maker, died on Monday, November 10, 2008 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Introdacqua, Province of Aquila, Italy on December 25, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Jennie Susi Volpe. She was predeceased by her husbands, John Lucia and Andrew Lucas and two sisters, Jean Colangelo and Rose Milano. Survivors include two children, John Lucia and his wife Susan of Orange and Katherine Luciano and her husband Dr. Michael C. Luciano of Trumbull, two brothers, Frank Volpe and his wife Raye of Monroe and Ernest Volpe and his wife Rose of Florida, two sisters Viola Callahan of Milford and Jennie Santoro of Trumbull, four grandchildren, Glenn Lucia and his wife JoAnne, Diane Cerretta and her husband Daniel, Janice Thibodeau and her husband James and Laura Cotter and her husband William, nine great grandchildren, Lauren and Julianne Lucia, Daniel and Michael Cerretta, Paul, Katherine and Kyle Thibodeau and William and Daniel Cotter and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Relatives and friends can meet directly on Thursday, November 13, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Peace Church, 230 Park Street, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
