Obituary of Christine Bogash Mackie

Administrative Assistant at University of New Haven Christine Bogash Mackie, age 49, of Orange, died on Friday, May 5, 2006 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of Louis F. Bogash, Jr. of Stratford and the late Helen Starincak Bogash. Christine was a graduate of Notre Dame High School of Fairfield, class of 1974 and the University of Bridgeport, class of 1976 and was formerly an administrative assistant for the University of New Haven. She was a strong and determined lady, and enjoyed gardening and arts and crafts. In addition to her father, survivors include her loving son, Louis Mackie of Orange, a sister, Rosemarie Bogash Penna of Stratford, a niece, Gina Marie Ceballo and her husband, Pablo of Stratford, a great nephew, Pablo Louis Ceballo, her former husband, Anthony Mackie as well as several additional cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in Holy Infant Church, 450 Racebrook Rd., Orange, on Monday, May 8, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
