Obituary of Patricia L. Mangan

Resident of Stratford Patricia L. Paviglianti Mangan, age 62, of Stratford, devoted wife of Joseph Mangan, passed away peacefully on December 17th, 2013, with her loving family by her side. Born on November 18, 1951 she was a daughter of Albert Paviglianti of Canastota, New York and the late Joan Major Paviglianti. Patricia earned her Associates Degree in Business Administration from Broome Community College in New York and began her career as an executive assistant with the FBI in Washington D.C. and Quantico VA. She later worked part time at Concepts and most recently at Unilever for the past 11 years. She was devoted to her Catholic faith and was a devoted parishioner at St. James Church, Stratford. Patricia was a Eucharistic Minister, a member of the Women of St. James, worked on the Marriage Vineyard and assisted in the Pre Cana Sponsor Couple Program. She also volunteered many hours and helped on many committees at the Church. But above all she was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, who cared deeply for the love and care of her family. Her strong will and values will continue to live on through her family; she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. In addition to her devoted husband of 42 years, Joseph and her father and step mother Helen, survivors include two loving children, Carolyn Dudeck and her husband Paul of Cheshire and Michael Mangan and his wife Priscilla of Derby, four cherished grandchildren, Madison and Mackenzie Dudeck and Liahna and Joey Mangan, brothers and sisters, Sharon Trabant and her husband Ray, Thomas Paviglianti and his wife Maryann, William Paviglianti and his wife Maryon, Joan Paviglianti, Geralyn Pitkorchemney and her husband Steve and Joseph Paviglianti and his wife Teri. She also leaves to cherish her memory brothers and sisters-in-law, Kathie Harmalik and her husband Tom, Teri VanDrieson, Rhonda Benjamin, Nancy Mangan and Rita Braman and her husband Don, step sister Debbie and step brother Ricky, as well as multiple nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in St. James Church, 2110 Main Street, Stratford on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
