Obituary of Mary R. Mariconda

Resident of Derby Mary R. Mariconda, age 83, of Derby, died on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 in Connecticut Hospice, Branford. Born in Bridgeport on June 12, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Marianna Giuseppe Monterosso. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Salvatore Mariconda, a son Thomas Mariconda and his spouse Walter Dembowski of Shelton, a daughter Marianne Carroll and her husband Morgan of Bridgeport, two granddaughters, Meghan Gervasio and Jennifer Dowler and her husband Warwick. She was pre-deceased by a daughter Jennie Gervasio and a sister Rose Uhl. Funeral Information A Memorial Mass celebrating her life will take place on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Margarets Shrine, 2539 Park Ave., Bridgeport. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
