Obituary of Ann Benedetto

Bridgeport Resident Ann (Tatangelo) Benedetto, age 88, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Ralph Benedetto, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at The Connecticut Hospice in Branford. Born in Bridgeport on June 21, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Rocco and Minerva Minnie (Arpie) Tatangelo. A lifelong city resident, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She had a love of cooking, and a special gift when it came to caring for others. She was an avid bowler, participating in local league play until the age of 86. She was happiest when her great granddaughters were with her, watching them smile while enjoying her meatballs and signature sauce that only their Nana could make. Survivors include her devoted daughter Patricia Pepin of Bridgeport, a cherished grandson, Greg Pepin and his wife Julie, of Trumbull, three adored great granddaughters, Maya, Ana and Lia Pepin, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Information Funeral Services will take place on Friday, May 31, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Fairfield for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends and relatives may call on Friday morning from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
