Obituary of Joseph F. Mazza

New Haven Resident Mazza Joseph F. Mazza, age 78, of New Haven, a retired production controller for the Garment Industry, died on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at his residence. Born in Long Branch, NJ on August 19, 1928, he was a son of the late Fred and Catherine Tober Mazza. Joseph was formerly a resident Hamden and Sanford FL. He was an avid sports fan and traveled extensively during his working years. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Anna Sidoti Mazza. Survivors include a daughter, JoAnn Santora and her husband, Vincent of Bridgeport, a brother, William Mazza of Killingworth, CT, a sister, Teresa McPartland of Brick, NJ , a grandson, John Somers and his wife, Megan, and three great grandchildren, Gregory, Daniel and Joseph and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information A Memorial Mass celebrating his life will take place on Friday, April 20, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church, 365 E. Washington Ave., Bpt. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. There are no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
