Obituary of Nora McKay

Nora (Nancy) ODonnell McKay, age 89, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Gilbert McKay died peacefully on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at her daughters residence in Florida. Born in Astoria, New York, on November 17, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Ellen Donahue ODonnell. A graduate of St. Johns Long Island School of Nursing, Nora was a Registered Nurse at St. Vincents Medical Center with over 25 years of dedicated service. She was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother and great grandmother who cared deeply for the love and care of her family. She enjoyed every minute spent with her family and will be deeply missed. Survivors include two devoted children, a son, Kevin McKay of Trumbull and a daughter, Eujanie Wheeler and her husband Lawrence of Cape Coral, Florida, a cherished granddaughter, Katelyn Wheeler and adored great grandson Carter Wheeler Douglas. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday, August 3, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
