Obituary of Raphaele McLaughlin

Resident of Trumbull Raphaele (Rae) Cocco McLaughlin, age 67, of Trumbull, a clerk for the City of Bridgeport Bureau of Vital Records for many years, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Bridgeport on May 26, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Ralph J. and Elvira Fumo Cocco and was pre-deceased by her devoted husband Albert McLaughlin and a sister Lucille Grasso. Survivors include her brother, Superior Court Judge Leonard Cocco and his wife Jean, sisters, Phyllis Knecht and Vera Cocco and her husband Kenneth Root. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, Mark, Lisa, Linda, Donna, Tracy, Rachel and Lenny. She has eleven great nieces, two great nephews, four great great nephews and two great great nieces. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in Christ the King Church, 4700 Madison Ave., Trumbull on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Easton. Family and friends may call on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
