Obituary of Rose Melita

Rose Tufano Melita, age 73, of Bridgeport, a home maker, died suddenly on Saturday, January 22, 2005. Born in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Tufano, and was a life long city resident. Mrs Melita enjoyed bowling and crocheting. She was predeceased by a son, Mark Melita and a brother, Louis Tufano. Survivors include her husband, Vincent Melita, two sons, James Melita and his wife Judy of Shelton and Robert Melita and his wife Ruth of West Haven, three brothers, Anthony Tufano of West Haven, Matteo Tufano of Bradenton, FL and Dan Tufano of Stratford, grandchildren, Corey, Paige, Colin, Stacey, Nonnie, Daniel and Timothy, great grandchildren, Victoria, Faylynne, Angelina and Katherine, and many nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at 9:45 a.m.in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 - 8p.m.
