Every time I saw Joanie or spoke to her on the phone I told her I loved her and I did. She was an incredible person and friend I am so sorry for your family's loss and the worlds. Dear Theresa, I am first cousin to Elena and I was present at the funeral service of her husband, Joseph, last Friday. Elena's Father, Frank, is my Father's brother. My Dad, Michael, and Frank were is business together for many years. My tribute to Joe was delivered via comments and the song, "I'll Be Seeing You." When Ellie told me about your sister and her battle with Ovarian Cancer I immediately put her on my prayer list over a year ago. (You may recall that my sister, Susan, died of Ovarian in 2013.) You may remember that we chatted at the baby shower for Cate, Ellie's daughter. I want to express to you and your family my very deepest and heartfelt sympathies at the loss of your sister, Joan. I know how much your sister must have suffered and I hope that you and your family find peace knowing that she is in a better place. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Joe and I are Little Bill and Autumns mom and dad. I have heard over the past couple of years soo many beautiful things about Joan. She was a very loving, dedicated and beautiful mother and woman. I know that she is now in a beautiful paradise and she is warm and in the light and will continue to watch over her loved ones. Our thoughts and prayers are with her in Heaven and family.
