I have known Bob nearly my entire life. Meeting him when I was a teenager after joining the family business at Curtiss-Ryan Honda. He was a big Teddy Bear, tough on the outside but always willing to do anything for you. You could tell he loved his family dearly and enjoyed the time he spent with them and all of his extended family. I always enjoyed listening to his stories of growing a business in Bridgeport and his unique sense of humor was always a pleasure. He will be missed. May God Bless you and comfort your family.

I first knew Robert back in the 40's. I knew him as "Bobby", His mother and my aunt Wilma Miller were best friends from the Wilmont Apartments. Bobby' along with his brother Ray Jr. and sister Suzanne were friends with my cousins Ronald, Eddie, and Roger until they moved to Stamford. I also worked with his uncle Norman. My condolences to the family and friends of Robert, so sorry for the loss.

I am very saddened by my dear friend Bobby's passing. My deepest sympathy to Nancy, Todd, Annie, your families, and the Beardsworth and Cioffi Families and Friends. I am so sorry for your loss, you are in my thoughts and prayers, and I wish you comfort and peace.
Bobby and Nancy's lifelong friend, 'Scotty' Edmiston, first introduced me to his second family, dear friends Bobby and Nancy and their families, 53 years ago. They quickly became my second family as well. Through the years, we celebrated so many holidays, milestones, joys and triumphs, and supported each other during times of sorrow. Along life's journey, we created so many wonderful memories. Bobby, you were a very special, courageous, kind and generous man with a heart of gold. You touched the lives of everyone lucky enough to know you, and you made the world a better place for so many. Thank you for your beautiful legacy of treasured memories! You are loved and admired by all of us, and you will be sadly missed, but you will live in our hearts forever.
Rest in peace, my dear friend.

I've known Bobby for 6 1/2 decades and his sweetheart of a wife for 7 decades. We had a great young life together. There was Bobby, James 'Scotty' Edminston and me . We called ourselves the "big three". You couldn't separate us with a crowbar. Many guys have tried and they all paid the price in the form of a knuckle sandwich. I am going to miss you as I miss every one of my beloved family friends that have passed. I give my heartfelt condolences to the entire Beardsworth and Cioffi families. Well Bobby, I'll see you soon. I just hope when I get up there only to find out we're all underage. It might be pretty hard to find someone to buy us a quart of beer. Rest well my brother. Love Pat and Nancy.

"Bobby", was one of a kind. I met him when he was 16 years old, he was always the strong, silent type with an ability of strength of character and brawn. A genius in the automobile industry before most are just finishing high school. His generosity was never flaunted, but it was always there and all who knew him saw it. There was never a problem Bobby couldn't tackle for anyone who went to him. His kind nature is a direct reflection of his familial family. His parents and siblings all possessed kindness and closeness, and Bobby was their hero. Rest in peace, my hero,
