Our deepest sympathy to Mariano’s family. Mario was such a kind and gentle person to all who knew him. We will always remember you singing karaoke “ You Were Always On My Mind “ at our Sons and Daughters of Italy, Joe DiMaggio Lodge in Hopewell Jct, NY. You received a standing ovation and put a smile on everyone’s faces asking who is this man! Rest In Peace dear friend.

I was so very sad to hear about Mario’s passing. We had such good times with him when he visited his brother, Aldo and my sister Sue’s house. We played cards and he looked forward to those times. My husband, Sam and Mario enjoyed each others company. They were both on dialysis and that bonded them. Just a couple of months ago Mario made a special visit to see My husband when Sam was so sick. That is what Mario did. He showed his love and respect to others. RIP dear Mario. Now you and Sam can visit in heaven. I will never forget you or the joy you brought to others. Love, Kathy Cerone

My sincerest condolences to Stephanie, Gina and the entire Strano Family. I had the amazing and awesome privilege to meet and care for Mariano. He taught me how to cook his specialty Italian dishes. Mariano will truly be missed he loved listening to Frank Sinatra as he would close his eyes and sing along. Rest in Peace beautiful soul.

Our hearts are broken over the loss of our beloved brother. Although he was my husband's brother, he was the brother I never had. Mario so loved and was so proud of his beautiful family. We have so many fond memories of family gatherings and fun times. Mario always lit up the room with love, laughter and occasional song. He was a force to be reckoned with and made friends wherever he went. These past few years were riddled with health challenges and we always said he was like a cat with nine lives, always overcoming every challenge and persevering. To our great sadness and dismay, God had other plans for him this time.
We know he's now at peace and reunited with our many loved ones who have gone before us. Rest in peace our dear brother and may God bless you and your family and help them through this very difficult time. We love you always and forever....Susan & Aldo & family xoxo
